Season: Summer
(each season will last 2 months)

I'm also thinking about making this a general plot: Its from an old rp I joined: Realm of the Forgotten, and I thank them for the plot base.
There are fueds between the Pure bloods (light), mixed bloods (neutral), and Envious Equines (dark) for century's.
The gods aren't happy with the way the Envious are over taking the lands and pure blooded equines are supposed to put an end to it.. but when the envious breed to the pures, and release half bloods chaos is broke loose... once again the lands of Avernia.
Will the horses sort it out, or will the Envious forever upset the gods, and eventually take full rule over Avernia??

Fearless I shall always be.

For bravery comes with a name.

That name, is mine.

Bravery is a hard thing to come by in these times, more and more mares become victims of harsh ruling stallions, and the mares are too shy and weak to fight back. In which case they live their lives in fear and do nothing but raise foals all their lives.
This was absolutely not the life this fea wanted. She was full of life when the times were right, she was humorous, exciting, and most of all. BRAVE. She would not run from a good fight, nor turn down a challenge. You see, people saw her as a slender weak young filly, or as for the stags, a good inclinement to their breeding program, but once she laid down her fighting, they'd rather leave her be. Feisty young mare she was, yet inside she longed to be loved for who she was, not for what she looked like, sounded like, or how many foals she could produce.

I live in a world of lies...

Will any stag ever emerge that has a heart, a kind yet funny personality, a true warrior?

She thought she'd never find out.. Her dubbance you ask?
Nothing more, nothing less... Then;

Valora

The fea tossed her mane to the side, her long glimmering tassles, who knew she was such a fine looking horse? Not her, as her eyelashes batted at her eyes, they did nothing but sooth the dry opticals. She was blind, completely. Thus, she didn't care about looks, nor color of her pelt. Dirty, clean, sparkling, or dull she wouldn't know anyhow. But it didn't bother her, looks were last on her list of worries. In fact, the only thing on her list of worries. Valora was a keep to herself kind of fea, sometimes she liked to toy with her opponent, sweet talk a stud before beating them in a battle, or laugh with utter humor from her own mind as she thought of plenty to say.
Being blind never mattered to her, yes it was like living a different life then seeing horses, from the beginning she had to deal with the teasing, harsh words, and comments, but she never let them get to her. She was stronger then that, she is Valora.
Not long after passing a family of squirrels she came across some rushing water, finally a drink to ease her throat, although she wasn't talking, it had been many miles since her last stop, and the dryness of her vocals was easing up on her. Dipping her maw to the cooling liquid she sipped up some water before lifting her cranium, some droplets of water falling from her chilled lips as she listened to her surroundings. She could tell by the whipping of grasses that up ahead she would be out of these lonesome woods, and into a more relaxing meadow. Hopefully being able to pick up a bite to eat there as well. Valora inhaled deeply before taking another sip of water, and bounding through the tides to make headway for the meadow.

PRINCE

Prince walked away from the beach. His legs were soaked from the knee down in ocean water and the rest of his body was speckled with wet spots from the splashes his long legs made. Branched and twigs snapped under his legs as he trotted through the dense foliage. He could sense a water souce near, he as only hopeing it wouldn't take him back to the ocean. His dark body moved like a shadow through the woods, almost ghostly. Then, he was sure he could hear it, the babling of a river. Prince worked into a canter, tree branches scraped against his body and leaves we being trapped in his mane. The river cam into sight and he slowed as he approached it. His sleek head lowered to take sips of the cold river water. His ears stayed alert, always ready for danger.

I live for adventure and excitement. My heart beats for love.. a love I have never felt..

The sun was out, burning high in the sky as the fea walked across the tall meadow grassland. So much food here, so much land, and a noise, on the far side, something big. She longed to explore it, and headed off in the general direction of the large booming, yet something else got trapped in her senses.

Finally, something to toy with.

Another horse, this one a brute in particular. Just great. Either he was just wandering, or he was looking to gather mares for an evil band of helpless horses forced to be in foal all their lives by the stallions cruel heart, and selfish ways.
That wasn't going to be her. However, Valora's nature was to investigate, and for that was just as she did.

Off into the trees like a lost wolf pup

Her eyelids batted at her blind opticals as she made headway for the stream. It masked most of the brutes smell, but being blind and all, her other senses were more extreme, thus, she was lead to him. Her dark brown and white coat glimmered in the sunlight spots that shone through the canaopy of trees, making her glow at certain times. Yet she wouldn't know it. Being blind hindered her sense of beauty, and self presence.
Oh well, good thing this mare didn't care about looks.

Peekaboo

Valora moved in on the stallion, her poll flexed, muzzle tipped out, and her muscular body ready for any action she may need. Closer and closer her daggers hit the ground sofltly until she was only about 20feet away behind all the underbrush and ferns. The stallion was well, obviously, she couldn't tell what color, but he had this smell about him, ahh that was it, ocean water. At some point, he had hit the lower beach.
This was her time to stop lingering in the shadows, and show herself, for she knew he had to have noticed her by now anyhow.

Valora picked up her frame and stood tall as she walked into view of the stallion. "Well well. Someone has come to end my extreme boredness." her vocals rang with a tinge of sarcastic and fun tones.
"Now, who might you be?"
she finished, while walking to the edge of the stream, on the opposite side of him of course. Before giving him a chance to respond, she flicked her head, causing her forelock tassles to move, and reveal her light blue ghostly eyes.

I've found you..

PRINCE

Prince arose, is dark eyes found the mare easily. She was smaller than he was, yet he could hear the strange bitterness in her voice. He saw her as just another though, yet he also feared she would not be alone.

A female like this belongs to someone

He thought as he looked over the mare, waiting for her stallion to imerge. His body tensed as he looked at his surroundings. He stood like that for at least a few seconds before remembring the mares question.

"I am Night Walkers Prince." He replied looking staight into the mares strange, almost white eyes.

Prince then put his head back down in the water, maing himslef look to not be a treat. He had no need to fight this mare, especailly not a mare. He couldn't bare to remember the stag that killed his mother, and he would never want anyting to compare himself to the dark stag.

He brough his head back up a second, shaking some of the leaves out.

"Since you know my name now, may I inquire what yours might be." He asked softly. Finished with the water, he stepped nto the grass.[/center]

Ahh this one's blood runs light, or so I shall think so...

Valora swiftly jumped the bank of the stream, and waded across its cold waters, her long thick tail resting atop the water, gliding across it with ease. With another sudden leap she jumped up the other side, and started to walk around this "Prince" brute. She could tell by her hooves hitting the ground, about how tall he was, and his build. Color didn't matter, for she didn't even know what her own color looked like anyway.
He felt stunned, she could tell by the way he stood there, and how he was acting, like he was waiting for something.. Like what, a dumb little foal. Nahh.

I can tell your strong, the way you stand, the way you act. Your cautious, yet brave. Hmm, I like that... or so I think.

"Yes, I'm alone." her voice beamed, proud of it. A loner was the life she loved. Not under anyones ruling, not forced to stay in one certain place, and not bound to a smelly herd for all eternity. But lately, her life started to come into view. What kind of life was lived alone, and secluded.. a boring one really.
She snapped back to reality, tossed her tail at a fly wanting to knaw on her pelt, and finished what she wanted to ask Prince.

"Oh, and yes, I'm blind as well. I'm not afraid to admit it." She tossed her forelock again, while stopping to a halt in front of his head.
"So then, Prince.. What brings you to this boring scrap of land?" she sneered, and while waiting for his reply the fea moved away from the front of him, down the bank a bit to stick her muzzle in the cool refreshing liquid. Her lips sealed to suck down the water, quenching her thisrt, and soothing her dry vocals. Once refreshed she lifted her maw, and felt the small droplets run off her whiskers, and splat into the rushing waters below.

You goof. He asked you your name. Say it.. Say it!!
"The name's Valora by the way."
She flicked her tail once more, and waited, as her listening devices picked up the sound of a hawk, screeching in the sky, stalking its next meal. She could also tell by, the change in the wind, the scurry of the squirrel and chipmunk on the dry Earth ground, and the way the trees moved..

A thunder storm was quickly approaching.

PRINCE

Prince stared at the mare is disbelief.

How could she be blind, she dosen't seem blind.
How can a blind mare be alone.

Prince walked cautiously around the edge of the medow. His ears flickered at evey sound he would hear. He didn't know if this mare was worth his trust.

Trust...

Trust...

Trust...

It souldn't be that hard. He should be able to just believe the mare, yet it was hard. After a full lapp round the small medow, he decided to trust her. His ears relaxed, as did some of his muscles... yet not all of them. He could never be sure. He could not let his guard down. Not yet.

Why am I here?

He stopped infront of the mare. His eyes were softer now, his body was slightly relaxed now.

"I'm here because... I'm not somewhere else." He said, for lack of anything better to say.

Interesting brute this one was.. very interesting indeed.

Valora shifted her weight, and walked off, she could tell this stallion wanted to feel comfortable around her, but it was like he was forcing to be comfortable. Anyway, she didn't trust him, no matter if he trusted her completely or not. Valora wasn't one to jump at the chance of being a stallions mare, she wasn't one to flirt, act all girly, or trust every equine she met.
She was a fighter, a warrior, brave, and fierce.

Valora stood tall, tipped her maw to the heavens, and nickered into the wind before responding to Prince.

"Oh yea, and I'm here wandering around because I lost my invisable friend.." she sneered sarcastically.
"Obviously, I'm not 'somewhere else' either, because that made absolutely no sense."
She swished her black tail across her rump, and reared up just to turn on her haunches with complete ease. The storm was rumbling in, and she wasn't ready to stand near a creek all day in the rain and wind.
If he wanted to follow, he would, if not, well then he would stay there. She wasn't going to make him follow her. Although, if he had the brains to know it was going to pour buckets of rain down from the clouds..
he would find some sort of shelter.

Thus, off she ran, forelock whipping above her right eye, tail whipping in the uncertain wind, and daggers pounding on the dry Earthen grass, while Valora headed for shelter.
Upahead, the noise she heard earlier, a waterfall, and much to her delight, a cave behind it would provide the perfect shelter during the rain.

PRINCE

Should I follow?

Prince stared after her. His mind couln't decide, he wanted to... but what if it was a trap. What if there was something waiting for him...

What if everything was Okay?

Prince took off. His powerful leggs carried him quickly toward the mare. He was cautiose as he got closer, he didn't want to be kicked, but he wanted to make sure she knew he was there. Prince nickered softly over the thundering rain, he hope she would hear. He ran out wide, hoping to run up beside her without startling her.

I'm here

Thunder shook the sky as the rain let loose. Within a few strides Prnce was soaked. He guessed the were heading for shelter... he hadn't really thought.

Valora was already inside the cave when she heard the winny over the rain, thunder, and waterfall. She had fantastic hearing, better then a normal equine considering when you loose grip of one sense, the others become greater, and more adapt to being her only way of living. Instead of seeing, she heard, felt, smelled, and tasted. That was just her way of life.. the "Valora" way.

Goofy stallion followed me

The fea sidestepped in the cave, making way for the brute to join her, or at least she thought he would, after all, he did follow her.. Anyway, she wasn't really amused with him, it was like he tried to hard to.. trust her, impress her, yada yada.
But then again, maybe he hadn't been around too many mares?? Valora sighed deeply, and waited for the stud to arrive, either way, she was stuck with him, at least for now until this freak storm passed over. She'd make due.
The fea tossed the forelock from her left side to her right eyelid and jaw. She had a long wavy forelock that came down almost to the top of her nares, and a long mane that cascaded below her neckline which waved in the wind so effortlessly.

ooc; gahh, little writers blockage there. xD

PRINCE

Prince slowed to a walk as he neared the cave. He could see her outline in front of him, and was careful to avoid it. He didn't know exactly how to act around another horse. He had only known one other equine... and look what happened to her. Killed by a stallion.

Is that how others of my gender act? A killer? Ferocious... Evil?

Maybe... just maybe... I can be the exception.

No... I will be the exception.

Prince stood toward the back of the cave. In the darkness you could only see the slight highlight of his eyes. Yet as large as he was... you could almost sense his presence. Fear seemed to keep him against the wall, he still didn't know if this mare was trustworthy, but at this point... theres wasn't much of another option, but to trust.

This is going to be a long storm....

The fea turned her head slightly hearing Prince walk in to the cave alone. "I thought you'd come" she voiced while nodding her head, and then turned her head away once more. Something to say.. she needed something.. this was just boring..
And then, as quick as the storm appeared, it stopped. All rain came to a halt, the thunder was no longer, as it was the same for the lightning.. everything done and gone.

Well, on my way I guess

Valora reached her hind legs out, and took a nice relaxing stretch while leaning forward and back, shifting her weight around.
ahhh that felt good

She stood straight up again and didn't glance back to Prince, her time with another horse was about to expire, you see, her attention span for stallions was still a very short timer, it was time to leave.
"Well, I'm off." she meerly stated, and burst through the waterfall sheet, and into the small water pool below. Without struggle she bobbed to the top, and swam for the shore, ahh the water was soothing on her coat, and made her completly at ease. Once at the bank her stones dug into the Earthen ground and pulled herself out of the water an into the grasslands ahead. Without even turning her head back, she ran off, daggers piercing the ground with perfect rhythm, she ran like she was on a cloud, a floating angel..

[[ooc; Valora won't join the herd for a bit, I think I'm gunna rp her a bit in the loner lands, she just isn't ready for herd life. =/ ]

PRINCE

Well... that was... quick.

Prince walked out of the cave, letting the waterfall glaze over his body for a second. Hie dark eyes looked down at Valora, but lingered only a second befoored he looked down toward the ground at which he stood.

I guess I messed that up.

He was ashamed. He was bred from a long line af noble horses. Strong, good equines. Yet he, supposedly the heir to the no longer existing herd, couldn't even interact with a simple female. She wasn't even larger than he was, and yet he had coward in the corner like a fear struck foal.

What a leader I would have been.

He had always thought of the Night Walkers as a great and powerful herd, but he was beginning to question himself. He had alway figured 'Night Walker' referred to their dark black coats that were hardly traceable in the dark. But maybe it was something else that lead to their name?

What if they were outcast, only to be seen running at night. Never interaction with other horses.

Prince finished his way through the water fall. His wet coat glistened in the radiant sunlight. Seeing the way Valora went, he trotted in a different direction. He stopped once, looking into the distance to see the horse in the distance.

We will meet again. And next time, I'll be able to prove myself.
